Shred for a Bed
February 5, 2022 @ 10:00AM — 1:00PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Mobile shredding to keep your personal information safe from identity theft, while helping those in need.
We hope you and your families are doing well during these challenging times. In spite of the many challenges, The Coalition is moving forward and preparing for our winter shelter program Operation Warm Heart, that begins in January 2022 and runs through April 2022. However, in order to run Operation Warm Heart this year, we need to take herculean steps and raise $85,000 for the program. This program usually services over 70-75 individuals who have nowhere else to go during this time. The funds raised will be used for. Reaching this goal will ensure these individuals will be safe, fed and have temporary shelter while they receive services to escape living on the streets of Union County.
To help offset some of the cost, we will be hosting a shredding event – “Shred for a Bed” to be held on Saturday, January 29th, 10AM – 1PM at Calvary Lutheran Church parking lot (69 Myrtle Street, Cranford, NJ 07016).
