I, LaTanya am choosing the Coalition in Elizabeth NJ to fundraise for a cause that I believe in. My life has always been such a secret that even my children do not know my story. I have been homeless due failing to have the knowledge of where to go for help or how to obtain help. My struggle largely impacted and effected my life. At 15 years old I lived with my then best friend and her family. Absolutely no one in my family took me in. Although I had nothing I managed to graduate from High School and College and raise 4 of the best children I can imagine with the help of God and people I met along the way; that believed in me. I may add more to this story later but for now I ask that everyone helps to support an organization that truly helps people. I chose the picture you see because it depicts my life. The left side is what people saw and the right is how I felt.
